OUR LIFES IN INSTAGRAM STORIES
I don´t
know if this social/media platform it´s my favourite but I usually use it. Generally,
I use it when I’m bored and it’s the same with the other apps because when I’m
with my friends or other people at some place I forget that I have a smartphone
on me, so usually I only check this app when I go by subway to the university
in the morning, to my home in the afternoon and when I’m about to sleep.
The truth
is that I consider IG like a way to get to know other people that I can’t see
every day and honestly that’s very important for me because, since last year, I
have been living alone in Santiago and I need to be connected with my friends,
my family (yes, my parents have Instagram), my boyfriend, etc.
This connection
is generated by the “stories” that the people upload and that’s the part that
most impresses me, because over the time there’s an increase about how much time
people spend on them. In digital newspaper called Merca2.0 I can found an
article very curious: the time spend using Instagram after the existence of
this modality was 24 minutes on average and now it’s around 32 minutes only
watching stories. So you can take account of the time spend only using this
network.

32 minutes! that's a lot of time, but is well used if you want to contact with your family

ResponderBorrarI never realize how much time I can spend on Instagram, but I think it took more than an hour when im bored /o\
Instagram is my favorite social media to. That true, it is a useful app to talk with someone who live farway.
ResponderBorrarIt´s true this social platform can be fun when talking about interesting posts about events around the world, but I think posting and seeing post of the daily life situations of others is not the best way to socialize.
